On this page you will find a selection of vintage and antique wrist and pocket watches. These items are offered for sale in as is condition. The movement in a mechanical watch will need to be maintained. Before the invention of the quartz watch, a wrist watch would be cleaned and oiled every two to three years. I have no idea when the watches I'm selling were last serviced.
Most of these watches are not waterproof. Even if the watch says that it is waterproof one should be cautious. The rubber gaskets that originally waterproofed the watch may be missing or dried out. If droped, many are not shock proof, and the staff could be broken or bent. I will describe as much as I can about these watches. Some are in running condition and some are offered for repair or parts. As a collector and former member of the NAWCC I have a good amount of knowledge about the items for sale.

Unusual 1960's-1970's Longines 10K gold filled wrist watch with an automatic movement. The watch has a burgundy faux wood dial accented with diamonds and a case front with enameled roman numeral time markers. This Circa 1920 writing device is a nice example of early 20th century mechanical pencils. Made by DeWitt-LaFrance, the top of the pencil is marked "Superite N-Silver Pat. Pend". The barrel has a smooth finish and is engraved with the words "Windham County National Bank, Danielson, Connecticut 1822-1922". Measures 5 1/4", and in fine condition with very little wear. Very fine, antique 32nd degree Masonic watch fob. This 14K white gold watch fob features a double-headed eagle with 32 in the black enamel and the motto "spes mea in deo est" (My hope is in God). The back has the Shrine crescent, camel and the symbol of the Lodge Of Perfection in enamel. This piece is hinged and when the top is lifted reveals a hidden Freemasonry square and compass symbol in blue enamel within a teutonic cross. This fob weighs in at 9.1 grams, and measures 1" tall and 5/8" wide. It is in very good condition and marked 14K. This Timex is shock resistant as stated on the back case cover. It has a stainless and silver tone Speidel expansion band.
