 
Vintage Gold Filled Shell Cameo Brooch, Pin or Pendant with Faux Pearls - Lustern 1940s
 Vintage genuine shell cameo from the 1940s in a yellow 12K gold filled setting. This cameo has lovely carving, the upswept hair, the flowers, and her features are well portrayed. The pin is marked `Lustern 1/20th-12K GF` and measures 1 5/8" tall by 1 3/8" wide. According to Dorothy Rainwater's "American Jewelry Manufacturers" Lustern is the mark of Louis Stern Company, Inc. This company ceased operations around 1950. The cameo has a bale so that it can be worn as a pendant. Condition and quality are excellent.
