 
Large Black Amethyst Carnival Glass Butterfly Hatpin - Art Nouveau
Exceptional antique hatpin in the Art Nouveau style made of carnival glass. The glass is an dark black with an iridescent finish that has green, blue, and purple hightlights. Really lovely! The hat pin measures almost 1 3/4 inches across and the length of the pin is 9 5/8 inches. It is in wonderful condition; no cracks, breaks or repairs; the top does not move on the pin shaft and is secure. The top does have some small flea bites on the rim. This hat pin is just beautiful and would be a fantastic addition to any collection.
