 
Gold Filled Wedgwood Jasperware Brooch or Pendant in Terracotta and Black - Profile of Cleopatra - Egyptian Ware or Revival Jewelry
 Late 1970's Wedgwood brooch in a gold filled setting. This jasperware cameo has a profile of Cleopatra in black with a terracotta backround. The brooch measures 1-1/2 across and can be worn as a pin or pendant. The setting is marked 12K GF and the back of the cameo is marked Wedgwood Made in England S 77. Wedgwood interest in Egyptian art goes back to the days of the first Josiah. This piece was probably made as a result of the tour of the treasures from King Tuts tomb 1976-1979.
