 
Vintage Soft Ball Sports Medal on Lanyard - Scovill Manufacturing Campions Men's Industrial League 1943 Waterbury CT
 This vintage medal for soft ball is made of a sterling silver. On the front is a nicely detailed picture of a man, leg outstretched, swinging a bat. On the back it reads; "Scovill Champions 1943 Mens Industrial Softball". At the bottom it has the makers name, Dieges & Clust, and the word Sterling. It measures about 1 1/4" in diameter at the widest point of the irregular circle. The medal was awarded to an employee of Scovill Manufacturing Co, originally located in Waterbury Connecticut. It is sold as found attached to a yellow lanyard that measures 9" long with a clip on one end. This lanyard might have once held a locker key.
